Reflections

This photograph is quite special to me. Some years back my mother and I decided to take a trip to spend Christmas in my beloved desert, I was so excited to share the place I love most with her but was also eager to get some pictures, full of a good attitude but low on experience at the time we set out for Canyonlands national park, island in the sky district. The views were unlike anything I had seen before, as we drove around I felt the need to stop and run to every edge I could to capture the jaw dropping views, as I was turning around those puddles captured my interest, while getting closer to them I noticed the reflection from the clouds, stopped and snapped this picture. To this day, this photograph remains close to my heart no matter how much time has passed.
